The eight-part series will launch October 8 during halftime of the Tuskegee versus Morehouse game at 2 p.m. ET. Webisodes will be available on www.aspire.tv immediately after premiering on air. “The Graduates NYC” is a web series that turns the cameras on the often dramatic lives of six driven graduates from various HBCUs as they find themselves living in New York City. In this new web series, we will see aspiring artists, moguls, entrepreneurs and executives as they continue to pursue their passion in various competitive industries. Kian Brown, a North Carolina Central University graduate, is an innovative personal branding expert known for an array of social channel correspondent appearances and coaching strategy seminars in the greater New York area. Chasity Logan is a Florida A&M University graduate and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Nonprofit Management at Columbia University. She is the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Development for a large non-profit drug rehabilitation center. Herman L. Riley, III graduated from Morehouse College and is currently a Marketing Manager at Audible, the digital audiobook subsidiary of Amazon.com. He is also the Co-Founder of “Petty Cash NYC” which is a new brunch series in Harlem catered to millennials.
